SEAMAN MISSES STEAMER.
A seaman on the Union Company's cargo steamer Kaiwarra, which sailed shortly after midnight last night for Newcastle, missed his passage. He went to Whangarei to-day by service car and from there by car to the Heads, where the steamer was instructed to call for him, the transference being made by launch.
