":-The-Gordon.Tent,T.OJL, has just con-. eluded a very successful, year. Quite a number of. new members have been added to the roll, whilst an excellent sign of increased interest is seen in'the number, of juveniles transferring to the adult • tent, and. the increased attendances, at .the') meetings.'.-Bowls as usual have provided the chief attraction after the business has concluded, but quite a number of social evenings have helped to" 'keep ' the interest of the members. In - the! bowling , competition,, the ■ tenthas done very well, although the Pascoc Shield has bceii "lent", to Mount Albert Tent for a year. The famous "Rooster" played for between the Epsom 1.0.0. F. and Gordon Tent still remains with the Rechabitcs,* although' .oh one occasion they, nearly lost it. The juvenile tent won the inter-society juvenile bowling shield, this being the first year of the competition, and . the ' young fellows deserved all the good things said about them. -Gordon Tent is looking forward to a very successful year in 1037. ;■#,-• » ':•-.'
