ALCOHOL TESTS.
The German. Home Secretary has issued a new decree regarding the blood test of motorists concerned in accidents. In future, not only the driver in an accident must have the lobe of his ear pierced and a little blood extracted for an alcoholic test, but the victim of the accident' must be tested too. It is considered that this will help to prove how far the pedestrian was incapable of acting quickly enough-to avoid causing an accident.
