MEMORIAL HALL.

TAXAPUHA R.S.A. CLUB. Returned soldiers and other residents of the Takapuna district gathered at Hurstmere Road this afternoon, when the Memorial Hall, the recently-acauired premises of the Takapuna and District Returned Soldiers' Club, was formally opened. The building has recently been renovated and will be used for meetings and functions of the club and for other gatherings. A week of carnival was to have been opened following the ceremony, but on the advice of the medical officer of health the carnival has been postponed.
