MALE PERFECTION.
SAMUEL GOLDWYN'S CHOICE
If there is a "Miss Most Beautiful Teeth" or a "Miss Most Gorgeous Back," that's all right—for the girls! Recently, however, masculine ideals were suddenly commandeered. It happened when someone said to Samuel Goldwyn: "Suppose, Sam, that you were sitting on the judges' bench and the State proposed the question, "Pick a panel of male beauty.' What would you do? Whom would you select?" Here is Goldwyn's answer:— Head: Clark Gable. Excellently shaped head with fine crop of dark hair. Eyes: Charles Boyer. Deep, dark eyes, perfectly set in the head, with fine forehead expressing fine intelligence and sensitivity. Nose: Frank Shields. Perfect chiseling, nearest the Grecian ideal. Mouth: Gary Cooper. Finely modelled and extremely sensitive. t Hands: L/eslie Howard. Marvellously expressive. Voice: Herbert Marshall. Beautifully modulated and pleasing to the ear, with perfect diction. Physique: Joel McCrea. Perfectly proportioned body, with excellent muscular development. Personality: Eddie Cantor. For many years the screen and stage's leading dispenser of personality; the years" only add to his store of if. i 7 irili^: Edward Arnold. No one before the public to-day has a greater degree of virility than this powerful actor, the force of his personality bcinotremendous. e
