STREAMLINED VEHICLE.

inspection by board.

The third of the Auckland Transport Board's rebuilt cars was on view to members of the board yesterday. The car, which should be running in the service towards the end of the week, is built on the latest streamlined pattern. It is Bft wide at the waist rail and 7ft Gin wide at the bottom cant rails. Seating accommodation is provided foe 52 passengers. The centre partition has been removed and the car has been painted red and cream in the latest shades. The metal work is,chromium plated throughout with brass fittings.
