RETURNED SOLDIERS.
DANCE AT SWANSON,
A bright holiday spirit predominated* on Saturday night at a particularly enjoyable dance held in Swanson Hall to mark the close of the year's sbcial functions organised by the Western Suburbs Returned Soldiers' Association. A n attendance representative of all units included the association president, Mr. T. A. Bishop. Presentations were made to Mr. and Mrs. Jones by Mr. Rowland Wood, president of the Swanson unit; Mr. B. G. Naden was master of cer£ monies. The success of the suppei arrangements was due to the valuable assistance of ladies of the committee, which included Mesdames C. Sayer, T. Edlin, B. G. Naden, Harvey, Miss Shirley Sayer, Messrs. N. W. Winter, W. Jeffs, L. Mooney, R. W. Wise, B. G. Naden, F. Harvey, C. Sayer.
