AGRICULTURAL MARKETING. Tlie object of tlie Government of India's extensive marketing programme, now in hand, is to develop the marketing of agricultural produce in India on profitable lines. When this is done, the position of Indian produce in the world markets will be raised and the rich internal markets will be utilised to greater advantage. This is the hope entertained by the Imperial Council of Agricultural Research about their marketing programme.
