The final of the November full-rink tourneys played on the Rawliiti Bowling Club's green resulted in a win for Sunde. Williams, Sage, Firth (Glen Eden) 19, who defeated Harman, Proud, Tomlin, Lancaster (Carlton) 16. A progressive fours tourney will be played by members of the Rocky Nook Bowling Club next Saturday, commencing at 1.30 p.m. TEAM FOR EMPIRE GAMES. I WELLINGTON APPROVAL. ! WELLINGTON, Wednesday. A circular from the New Zealand Bowling Association, received by the executive of the Wellington Bowling Centre, proposed striking a levy for sending a team of New Zealand bowlers to Sydney for the British Empire Games in 11)38. The president, Mr. W. Gilbert, said that it was a glorious opportunity for the very best New Zealand bowling team to be sent. A resolution was carried unanimously sujiporting the proposal. Approval of a proposal to abandon the games for the Barnett Tiki between Christchurch and Wellington Centres was expressed. It was stated that Wellington would welcome a visit at any time from teams of Cliristcliurch bowlers. .
