Tom Lowry, the 1927 and 1031 New Zealand captain in England, was stumped by All Black Eric Tindill. off Crawford (seven wickers) for a "duck." SIX WICKETS WITH SIX BALLS. MANAWATU PLAYER'S FEAT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PALMERSTON NORTH, Wednesday. An unusual cricket feat was performed at Shannon, when D. Mercer secured six wickets with six balls off one over. Five of the batsmen play in the Manawatu Association's senior grade. Though the match was a friendly game the feat is ail the more meritorious, when it is realised that it was not a case of a good bowler sending mere tyros from the batting crease, for several of those dismissed have played a prominent part in city cricket.
