GOVERNMENT SUBSIDY.
MINE DEVELOPMENT WORK. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) THAMES, Tuesday. Mr. J. Thorn, M.P., was advised by the Minister of Mines (the Hon. P. C. Webb) this morning that Cabinet had approved of a subsidy of £900, on a pound for pound basis, for development work in the Monowai mine.
