The other two selectors" of the M.C.C. team, now in a strong position in the first Test: at. Brisbane, are Messrs. P. F. Warner (chairman) and P. A. Perrin. The former was captain of the team which won the Test rubber in Australia in 1903-04, and was also official leader on the successful 1911-12 tour. Owing to a serious illness, however, J. W. H. T. Douglas took over the captaincy and led England to vietory in four of the first Tests. Perrin was one of the great batsmen Essex has produced, although he never played for England. GAME IN SOUTH.
