RADIO GEAR STOLEN.
BURGLARY AT ONEHUNGA. . j ONLY CABINET LEFT BEHIND. When Mr. C. J. Williams, secretary •< of the Maunkau Rovers Rugby Football Club, went to liis office in Rowe Street, near the pumping station at Onehunga at 7.30 last evening lie found that it had been broken into, also the club's training shed adjoining. A big radio in the s"hed bad been dismantled, the chassis and loud speaker removed, and only the cabinet left. The canteen locker had also been forced open. Entrance was effected by forcing a side window with a jemmy. Nothing was taken from the office. »• • ' Vital statistics for To Awamutu during November were:—Births 17, nl!ir 'i" ages 5, deaths 10. For November, there were 17 births, 3 mairias CA 5 deaths.
