DUCE, GIVE US LIGHT !

MUSSOLINI SEES TO IT.

WOMEN'S PLEA SUCCEEDS. ROME. Mussolini has been patronising the Tivoli sulphur baths this summer and the inhabitants of a suburb of this city have reason to be thankful for the fact. The womenfolk in particular have been long incensed about not having electricity ,in their homes. They noticed that, on several mornings in succession the Duce raced through their main street on his motor cycle 011 his way to the baths. Recently they lined up on the roadside and as he passed shouted in chorus: "Duce. Duce, we are in the dark. Please give us light." He stopped and, calling some of the women to him, listened to their complaint. . "Very good," he said, "I myself will lee to it.'' The same afternoon engineers arrived and started work 011 installing electric light. ,
