Whangarei A No. 1 played Hikurangi A at Hikurangi and won by 11 rubbers to 1 (97 games to 45). A senior tennis match was played on the Taupiri courts on Saturday afternoon, 1 between teams from Huntly and Taupiri. The result was a win for Huntly .by 7 rubbers to 6. Owing to rain three games in the mixed doubles were unfinished. JOAN HARTIGAN BEATEN. BRISBANE, November 15. In the finals of the Queensland tennis championships yesterday McGratli defeated Bromwich, 6 —2, 7—5, 6—2, and Miss N. Wynne (Victoria) defeated Miss Joan Hartigan, 7 —5, 6 —l.
