N.Z. AVIATION DECORATION

Tihe question of establishing some decoration of honour for the recognition of famous aviators "for services rendered in the interests of aviation" is to be considered at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Aero Club. In the annual report, in which this question is raised, the club records its congratulations to Miss Jean Batten, for her flight from England to NewZealand. "Her skill, pluck and tenacity," it states, "have all been spoken of, and we add our tribute in full sincerity to a wonderful pilot, whom we are proud to claim as a fellow citizen, and club member, of New Zealand."
