WEATHER IMPROVING.

MR. CLARK'S TASMAN FLIGHT. (Received 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. The New Zealand farmer airman, Mr. E. Clark, has received a report that the weather over the Tasman is improving, but he is not likely to take off for New Zealand before Sunday.

A later message says the aviator expects to start for New Zealand at 2 a.in on Sunday.

LONG FLIGHT PLAN.

VANCOUVER TO ADELAIDE. (Received 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, November 13. An American, Mr. Arthur Fink, a ship's wireless operator and navigator, called on Mr. McCann, South Australian Agent-General, and discussed a project for a flight from Vancouver to Adelaide in which he would partner Commander George Pond, an entrant in the MacRobertson air race. Mr. Fink said a 'plane was available and only details remain to be settled. He hoped to break the long-distance, non-stop record and arrive in Adelaide, via Honolulu, at Christmas.
