AFTERNOON TEA.
An enjoyable afternoon was spent yesterday when Mrs. N. K. Francis, who has just returned from a three months' holiday in Honolulu and Suva, entertained a number of her friends at afternoon tea'and held in a section of John Court's, Limited, tearooms. Fragrant spring flowers surrounded the enclosure and golden escholtzias made effective table decorations.
Among those present were: Mesdames 0. A. Dryland, R. Brizzell, A. Wainvvright, S. D. Hibbard, E. Pearse, J. S. Robertson, J. Edwards, R. Hannken and H. S. Parsons.
