HELENSVILLE.
A farewell evening was given to Mr. and Mrs. Buckton in the Parish Hall, Helensville, by the members of St. Matthew's Anglican clioir, of which Mrs. Buckton has been a member for many years. Mr. Halliwell rendered two solos, Miss Joan Phillips being the accompanist and pianist for the evening. Dancing, competitions and games were enjoyed. Supper was served by the choir, and the Rev. Parsons, on behalf of the members, presented Mrs. Buckton with a hymn booK and a psalter. Mr. Buckton repiied on behalf of his. wife. Mrs. Buckton was also the recipient of numerous bouquets. Those present were: Mesdames Parsons, K. White, Nicholls, Hunter, Prince, Robt. Smith, Roy Smith, Williscroft, Sheffield, Beagle, T. Sellars, Hunt, and the Misses F. Quarrie, L. Quarrie, I. Quarrie, N. Smith. M. Grey, A. Beagle, McDonald, E. Becroft, D. Becroft, B. Bailies, E. Mills, Gondon, P. Megson,, E. Hanson, Hanson, Ellett,| Williscroft, Creaton.
