GIRL PAT'S NEW OWNERS. (Received 2 p.m.) LONDON, October 23. Mr. J. Vincent, of Hull, who was a member of" Sir Ernest Shackleton's 1910 expedition, has offered to bring back the stolen Grimsby fishing trawler Girl Pat from Georgetown, British Guiana, to England. The vessel has been purchased by a company registered as • Girl Pat, Ltd., which is advertising for a crew-"seeking adventure." GERMAN AIRSHIPS. * ITALY-ETHIOPIA SERVICE. (Received 10.30 a.m.) ROME, October 23. The Italian Government has ordered a number of Zeppelins from Germany for use on the air service to Addis Ababa, which is to start early in 1937. AIR FORCE OFFICERS. DOMINIONS' TRAINING PLAN. LONDON, October 23. The "Daily Telegraph" says the expansion of British Dominions' .Air Forces is resulting in Australia sending 50 to 60 short-term officers to serve in Britain in 1936, instead of the former 10 to 15. Canada is sending 15, and New Zealand has made a similar arrangement. NEW GERMAN ZEPPELIN. TRANSATLANTIC SERVICES. WASHINGTON, October 23. The Department of Commerce announces that the German Government has authorised Dr. Eckener to build a sister airship to the Hindenburg for use in private American interests and for transatlantic operation. The possibility of a subsidy is .under consideration. KING'S FARMS, v TENANTS TAKING OVER. British Official Wireless. (Received 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, October 23. The King has been spending a few days shooting over his Sandringham estate and examining arrangements made for its reorganisation, under which several of his former tenants have taken over lands hitherto directly farmed by the King.
