A radio message received by "Le Jour," Paris, from Salamanca, asserts that in consequence of the arrival at Santander of a Soviet ship with a full cargo of arms, the insurgents have decided to intercept Russian ships entering Spanish waters and sink those carrying: munitions. A rebel gunboat is reported to have captured a cargo steamer flying the Greek flag and carrying £1,240,000 worth of guns and ammunition intended for the Loyalists, escorted her to Ceuta and transported the majority of the cargo to Spain for the use of the rebels.
