PRE-WEDDING PARTY.
One of the many pre-wedding parties arranged recently in honour of Miss Ima Rowel! was held in the Catholic Women's League rooms on Tuesday, when a jolly kitchen dance was held. The hostesses Mrs. C. H. Maisey, Mrs. G. R* Webb, Mrs. T. Maisey and Miss Marie Say.igh. The lounge and dance room were a mass of fragrant cherry blossom and lilac, and excellent music was provided for the dancing. About 170 guests were present and many good wishes were extended to Mr. W. G. Sayegh and his fiancee, who was wearing a frock of blue and silver metal cloth. Mrs. C. H. Maisey was in a frock of black lace, Mrs. G. R. Webb worn grean liinon, Airs. T. Maisey brown angel skin lace and Miss Marie Sayegh white taffeta. Among the guests were: Mesdames B. Colman, D. Clouston, P. Bond, M. J. Moodabe, L. Stewart, C. Kempt, G. Barton, G. Seagar, S. Burke, E. Carter, J. Ford, M. Svensen, K. Kelly, F. James, R. Deverne, R. Coburn, G. Vercoe, M. Horton, Misses G. Kempthorne (Hamilton), Rita Waters, P. Watts, Molly Claridge, B. Haywortli; Nota Casey, Connie Porter, Edna Schoefield, M. Morgan B. Gilts, A. Reid, J. Milne, A. Craig,' P. Singer, L. Langley, Margaret O'Connor, A. Gouley, J. Bond, Val McCallum, E. Abel, Trixie Yates, Jo Edwards, P. Roberts, V. Roberts, H. Johnson, M. Johnson, P. Hall, R. Francis, Moana Maisey and Gloria Maisey.
