Notice is hereby given that an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Auckland Co-operative Terminating Building Society will be held at the offices of the Society, situated at the corner of Albert and Wellesley Streets, Auckland, on THURSDAY, the 29th day of October, 1030, at 7 p.m. BUSINESS : To consider, and if approved, to pass certain resolutions consolidating, amending and altering the Rules of the Society. The resolutions provide that: 1. Rule S3 be deleted and new Rule be substituted therefor. Old Rule redrawn. 2 Rule 6 be deleted and new Rule be substituted therefor. Old Rule redrawn. 3. Rules ISA and 18b be deleted and new Rule 18 be substituted therefor. Amalgamation of old Rules. 4. Rules 19a and 19b be deleted and new Rule 19 be substituted therefor. Amalgamation of old Rules.. 5. New Rule 23a be added to the Rules * providing for cash dividend on shares. 6. Rule 42 be amended to include existing Rule 43, providing for seven days' notice ,pt meeting. 7. Rule 43 be deleted and new Rule be substituted therefor providing for special Appropriation Meetings. 8. Rule 63 be deleted and new Rule be substituted therefor providing for quorum at Appropriation Meeting. 9. Rules 94 and 95 be deleted, as unnecessary. ' 10. Rules 90, 97, 98, 99, 100 and 101 be deleted and new Rules 96, 97 and 9S be substituted therefor, governing- the question of appropriations generally. 11. Rule 104 be amended. Consequential amendment. 12. Rule 109b be deleted and new Rule be substituted therefor. Issue of withdrawn shares. 13. Rules 131 a and 131b be deleted and new Rule 131 be substituted therefor. Amalgamation of old Rules. 14. Rules 135 a and 135b be deleted and new Rule 135 be substituted therefor. Amalgamation of old Rules. 15. Rule 138 be amended. Amended to include part of appropriation repaid. 16. Rule 152 be added to the Rules of the Society providing for reprinting of the Rulei.
