The council of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce at its meeting on Thursday, when exception was voiced by Mr, J. *A< C. Allum to two telegrams sent to Wellington, one asking that the Industrio* Efficiency Bill be dropped and the other protesting against statements made by the Minister of Industries and Commerce, the Hon. D. G. Sullivan, durjncr the second reading debate, decided to°confirm the sending of the telegrams. A motion to that effect was put before 'he meeting and was carried.
