BRITISH FRIENDSHIP.

Nazi Gesture Seen in Key Men's Decision. COLONIAL LEAGUE DISSOLVED. BERLIN, October 14. It is reported that the Reich Colonial League has been dissolved. The question was discussed with Herr Hitler at a conference with the key men of the Nazi party held at the Fuehrer's country home at Berchtesgaden, in the Bavarian Alps, on Sunday, before the long autumn vacation. The Conservative group, which favohrs friendship with Britain, won the day. It was decided not to force the colonial issue too much at present. It is understood that this is the reason for the cancellation of the "Colonial Congress," which was to have taken place at Breslau on Friday. The Government is anxious that nothing should spoil the reception of Herr von Ribbentrop, the new German Ambassador, in London. A big building project for Berlin was also discussed at the conference at Berchtesgaden.
