£200,000 for Salvation Army And Church Army. moneyed brewer's widow. (Received 1 p.m.) LONDON, October 7. A sum of £200,000 has been bequeathed between the Salvation Army and the Church Army (Anglican) by Mrs. Annie Smith, of Kensington. Aged 90, Mrs. Smith was the widow of a millionaire brewer and distiller Both organisations were taken by surprise and neither was able to trace an y association of Mrs. Smith with their work.
