DANCE AT TE PUKE.
The Te Puke Howlers' Club held a ball in the Capitol Theatre, the hall being decorated with coloured streamers. A feature of the ball was the buffet supper, the tables being decorated with Iceland poppies. Two spot waltzes were danced, the winners being Miss Alison McNaughton and Mr. Eric Capon, and Mrs. L. Macdonald and Mr. Rex Longworth. Among those present were: Mesdames W. Burt, E. Hartshorne, A. Brown, S. Heather, C. Carthew, E. Hargreaves, T. Mikkelsen, E. Butcher, A. Spratt, T.
