BRITAIN DRINKING LESS. * LONDON, October 1. Mr. Lloyd George, addressing the North Wales Temperance Association, said that one of the few good things that had come out of the war was drink restrictions. Consumption 'of beer, he said, had decreased by half since 1015 and consumption of spirits by twothirds, while convictions for drunkenness had fallen by two-thirds. Nevertheless, he added, there was still too much drinking for the health of the individual or the State. I
