GAS-PROOF SHELTERS.
COMPANY'S PRIVATE ORDER. LONDON, October 1. The fact that his firm had recently constructed office buildings fitted with gas-tight doors which would allow business ~to be carried on during an aerial gas attack was announced by the chairman of the Carrier Engineering Company, Mr. S. Groom. The company, he added, had also secured its first order for a gas-proof shelter. It would accommodate 200, and would be installed in a large block of flats in London.
