ROCKET TO MOON.
A TWO-DAY'S JOURNEY. . EXPERTS SURE OF IT. LONDON, September 12. A space rocket which will travel to the moon in two days is being planned by rocket-flying experts in Britain, Germany and America. The British InterPlanetary Society, which has its headquarters in Liverpool, is sure this experiment will succeed. Scientists are working on a liquid fuel rocket which, travelling at a speed of seven miles a seeond, will reach the moon in two days. Experiments were conducted in America last year with a similar rocket which reached a sjieed of 700 miles an hour, but at a height of 7500 ft the fuel out and the rocket returned to earth.
