BLOOMS FOR AUSTRALIA. LONDON, September 12. Thirty blooms of all types of dahlias raised by British producers in Britain were shown in a block of ice at the New Horticultural Hall, London, this week. The block, three feet long, two feet high, one foot thick and weighing 2icwt, will be sent to the Newcastle and District Dahlia Society, New South Wales —13,000 miles away —for exhibition in March next year. Dahlias have never before been sent abroad in this .manner.
