OLD FOLKS' REUNION.

PITT STREET METHODISTS. SEVENTIETH ANNIVERSARY. The annual reunion of old folk of the Pitt Street Methodist Church was held this afternoon when nearly 3UO veterans of the church attended. To-day was the 70th anniversary of the Pitt Street Church and the 95tli anniversary of Auckland Methodism. Every year the anniversary is the occasion of a gathering of elderly church members and adherents resident in the city and suburbs, and there were present at to-day's gathering several who had been present at the laying of the foundation stone of the Pitt Street Methodist Church 70 years ago. At this afternoon's service the speakers were' Mr. J. TSf. Shackelford, the senior trustee. of the church, and who also conducted the service, and the Rev. E. T. Olds. At the conclusion of the addresses a, bouquet was presented to the oldest lady and a box of handkerchiefs to the oldest i gentleman.
