FIRST WHITE BABY.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) SUVA, September,, 26. On September 10 the first white baby was born on the Tavua goldfields. It was a strong, healthy boy scaling BAlb, the child of Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Silva, who came from Sydney, and who were married at Ba in (October. Mr. Silva is assayer to the Tavua Gold Developments.
