PERSONAL.
Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Robertson, of Mangere, arrived back from a world tour by the Mariposa to-day. Mr. F. W. Schramm, M.P., arrived in Auckland this morning from Wellington by the Main Trunk express. The Hon. T. Bloodworth and the Hon. E. R. Davis, M.L.C.'s, arrived in Auckland from Wellington by the Limited express this morning. Lieut.-Colonel Fred Burton, field secretary in the Dominion for the Salvation Army, is in North Auckland on an inspection of Army work. The Rev. W. J. Elliott, of Devonport, j will leave this evening by tjie Limited I express for the Wairarapa, where he i will conduct the anniversary and jubilee services of the two Methodist churches. Mr. L. Warren, formerly of the Auckland office -of the Union Steam Ship Company, left Wellington early this week by the Maunganui for Rarotonga, where he is to be manager. He is accompanied by Mrs. Warren. Mr. J. V. Tyree, chairman of the Auckland Board of Christ's College Old Boys' Association, will leave Auckland to-morrow to attend the annual functions of the association, which are being liekl in Christchurch on October 9, 10 and 11. Dr. O. L. Eaton, medical missionary designate of the Presbyterian Church, will arrive in Auckland on Tuesday and leave on Thursday, en route to Canton. On Tuesday evening he will be dedicated at a farewell service in St. David's Church.
