GERMANS SUPERIOR?

Englishman's Comparison With French. MILITARY OPERATIONS. (Received 10 a.m.) LONDON, September 29. The "Morning Post" military correspondent, who attended both the French and German manoeuvres, says he finds the Germans keener soldiers. They have discarded the tendency to mass and now move in far more dispersed order than the French. Both infantries employ light machineguns in the forefront of their attack. The Germans are far ahead of the French in anti-tank guns, of which they possess a vast number. German equipment generally is distinctly superior! to the French in quality. The French are still burdened with an immense amount of obsolete material.
