HARMONY GROUP.

AN ENJOYABLE PROGRAMME. An enjoyable programme was presented at the Harmony Group held in the Fabian Club rooms on Monday night. Mr. Bruce Wilkinson presided. Songs were sung by Mrs. Ivy Shaw, Mrs., Walter Dearlove, Mrs. Black and Mr. Frank McKnight, and a duet by Masters Wright and„Master. Pianoforte solos were given by Mr. Alan Pow and Mr. George Asher, elocutionary items by Miss B. Prince and Mr. Knight (Friend John, of the Friendly Road); a 'cello solo by Mr. Reginald Pawson, and an exhibition of Indian club swinging by Miss Ellen Houghton. An amusing sketch entitled "Widows" was presented by the Sheridan Players, the cast comprising Miss Arawa Heron, Miss Kathleen Stenson and Miss Marjorie Kyle. The accompanists were Madame Humphrey Steward and Mr. Alan Pow. The hostesses were Mrs. J. Owen and Miss Muriel Inwood. Supper was arranged by Miss Phyllis Gribbin, Miss Mollie Davey and Mrs. L.
