RAND WICK TRIALS. GOLD ROD PLEASES. SILVER JUBILEE SPRINTS WELL. (Received 12 noon.) SYDNEY, this day. At Randwick this morning on the B grass track Gold Rod ran six furlongs in 1.20, the last four taking 51%5. His work continues to give every satisfaction. The best four furlongs of the morning was done by Palm, who beat Barak in 50s. Gustos, who was going a little better of the two, led Cerne Abbas over six furlongs in 1.10%. On the tan Silver Ring, after pacewovk, went an easy four furlongs, taking 535. Cuddle covered four furlongs in 525, with something in reserve. Cereza did tlie fastest sprint over three furlongs, registering 3(iV£s. At Victoria Park, on the course proper, Silver Jubilee sprinted well. He races at the Hawkesbury meeting to-day. Spoiling Blood galloped very well, covering a mile in 1.44/£. Kob Roy beat Bobby over a mile iu 1.45.
