LATEST FROM SMITHFIELD. The Bank of New Zealand has received the following advice from its London office as at the close of business this week:—Wethers: The market is quiet but firm. Ewes: The demand for light-weights is good. Lambs: There is a moderate demand and prices are firm. Wethers, light 4%d to sVid per lb, heavy 4d to 4%d; ewes, 3%d to 4%d; lambs, twos 7%d to 7 1 /4 d, eights 7d to 7Md, fours 6Vzd to 6%d, seconds 6%d to 7%d.
