SALESMAN'S OFFENCES
PROBATION ON THEFT CHARGE REMAND IN ANOTHER CASE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Pleading guilty to theft-j totalling £32 6/, James Douglas Galbraitli, 25, salesman, was placed on probation for IS months -when he appeared in the' Magistrate's Court to-day. The money represented sums collected as a debt collector and not accounted for. Most of the money belonged to Greymouth people. Edward John Hill, 31, charged with thefts totalling £71 13/4, was remanded to Greymouth on bail of £50.
