In your edition of the "Star" 011 Wednesday you acknowledged various donations ot money to the Mayor's crippled children's fundYou stated one donation of £40 as having been given by the "St. Andrew's Society. You must have been misinformed, as this sum was the result of the efforts of the combine Scottish societies of Auckland and distuc Representatives of each society formed a committee, whose organisation and work brought about a successful evening, resulting in the said sum being available for the Mayor's fundThank you for allowing me to make this correction and giving .
