A Happy Morning.

MERRY BAND AND SILVER LINING CLUBS. A cloudy, overcast morning threatened to spoil the visit of the Merry Band of Helpers from Devonport and the Silver Lining folk from Epsom. However, before very long the «uti was shining brightly and our clubroom at the "Star" was a scene of the busiest activity. Both clubs worked very hard and well deserved the 25 points awarded them. Captain Jean McKenzie, of the Merry Band, had with her Shirley Clist, Zelda Edwards, Don McKenzie, Daphne Flynn, Merleen Stevens and Rae Harper. Silver Lining Club members present were as follow:—June Hewitt (captain), Kathleen Potter, Freda Hagen, Joan Gilbert, Margaret Sayers Nancy Hipkins and Ailsa Sayers.
