ALTERATIONS TO BE MADE.

HAMILTON, this day.

The Public Works Department has let a tender for £472 to Winstone, Ltd., for alterations to the Supreme Court and the Magistrate's Court rooms at Hamilton, to improve the acoustics.

Since th° courthouse was built five years ago heavy curtains and unsightly mattresses have been hung jn the room to prevent echoes.
