THE KAIKOHE CLUB. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) KAIKOHE, this flay. The president, Mr. L. J. Smith, presided over the annual meeting of the Kaikolie Tennis Club. He said that a successful year was experienced and the membership stood at 73. A new pavilion was erected last season and the fiv£ courts were in good order. It was decided to affiliate with the North Auckland Association, .the opening day was fixed for October 7. Officers were elected as follow: —Patron, Mr. T. Jeplicoate; president, Mr. W. C. Wylie; vice-presidents, Messrs. H. F. Guy, A. W. Edwards, sen., W. Moore, A. H. Wright and Mrs. Dawson; secretary and treasurer, Mr. E. Wilson; assistant secretary, Mr. A. Memberg; general committee, Messrs. W. Moore. C. Ward, A. H. Wright, C. Scarfe, G. Williamson; club captain, Mr. L. .T. Smith; . match committee, Messrs. L. J. Smith, G. Williamson and C." Scarfe; grounds committee, Messrs. W,. Moore, A. H. Wright, W. C. Wylie; honorary auditor, Mr. N. A. Eliery; honorary engineer, Mr. N. F. Allcoek. WHAU VALLEY CLUB. ; ts WHANGARBI, Monday. A successful season and a sound financial position were disclosed at the annual meeting of tlie Whan Valley Tennis Club. The following officers were elected : —President, Mr. S. Oldeorn ; vice-presidents, Messrs. D. S. Kerr, A. McMillan ; secretary and treasurer, Mrs. I>. M. Oldeorn; club captain. Mr. A. McMillan; vice-captain, Mr. I). S. Kerr; committee, Miss Olsen, Mrs. A. McMillan. Messrs. C. Saul, G. Richards, V. Dickey; trustees, Messrs'. S. Oldeorn, L. Smeal; handicap committee. Mrs. McMillan, Messrs. C. Saul, A. McMillan; delegate to North Auckland Lawn Tennis Association, Mr. G. Richards.
