WRESTLING.

DAVIS V. McCREADY,

One of the biggest wrestlers yet to visit New Zealand, "Wee" Willie Davis, will make his first appearance in Auckland next Tuesday night against Earl McCready, the very successful Canadian. Davis, a tremendously proportioned man, is 6ft Sin in height and weighs- 18.7. His size becomes most marked when he is seen

alongside a man of normal proportions. One of Davis' principal methods of attack is his terrific elbow jolt, but he is a wrestler of class, having won several amateur championships before he turned professional. This will be his first meeting with McCready, who is certain to be extended to the utmost.
