A FRIENDLY GESTURE.
"OUR GREAT EASTERN SISTER." ' " PRAGUE. General Alknis, chief of the Russian Air Force, who'is now in this country visitino- aeronautic institutions, was the cuest' of the Czecho-Slovakian Government at a- dinner at which War Minister Frantisek. Machmk made a speech stressing the friendly relations between Czecho-Slovakia and Russia. "This friendship is based on the history of our two States, and the fact that both nations come of the same «tnck" Mr. Machmk declared. We have always regarded Russia as our Seat eastern sister. All our. representatives who have visited Russia recently hive returned with enthusiastic repoi t> concerning the progress they saw theie.
