MME. LA MERI.

TO PERFORM AGAIN SOON,

The injured muscle which caused the cancellation of the two final appearances in Auckland of Mme. La Meri, the famous dancer, has improved so rapidly that it is expected that she will be able to dance again in a few days' time. Mme. La Meri is at Rotorua recuperating and undergoing massage treatment for the injury, which is slighter than was at first thought, and she will be able to continue her tour of the North Island. Her first public concert will be at Hamilton next Monday night.

A final appearance will be made by the dancer in the Auckland Town Hall on Thursday, September 17. This will be Mme. La Meri's farewell in New Zealand, as she and the other members of her party will leave for Australia the following day by the Awatea. Full details of the programme and box office arrangements for this final appearance of Mme. La Meri are advertised.
