MARIPOSA LAUNDRYMAN.

SUVA, August 27
While the Mariposa was lying a seaman Dennis Sanford was stopped by a Customs officer when descending the gangway and found to be in posses" sion of four tins of opivm. He was at once taken before the Magistrate and remanded till to-day, when he is being charged with an indictable offence.
