WOMEN'S HOCKEY.
DOMINION TOURNEY. THIS MORNING'S PLAY. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) BLENHEIM, this day. The Dominion's women's hockey tournament entered its second day in fine weath<s, though the grounds were heavy. Canterbury defeated Nelson in a onesided contest by 7 goals to 0. Mary McKenzie scored five goals and D. Dickey two. Eastern again outclassed the opposition, defeating Wanganui by 9 goals to 0. The combination of the Eastern girls is Derfect, and they are strong favourities for the section, although Wellington might be troublesome.
