PEOPLE INJURED.

AUCKLAND ACCIDENTS. * FALL FROM GIRDER. While at work on Saturday morning, injuries to the back were suffered, through falling from a girder, by Raymond Albert Patterson, aged 16, of 7, Graham Street, City, an employee of Northern Automobiles, Limited. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance. His condition is not serious. , v WRESTLER INJURED. Concussion and injuries to the left shoulder were suffered by Henry Brewer, aged 26, of Cornwall Road, Papatoetoe, a wrestler, while competing in the amateur wrestling championships in the Artillery Hall, Rutland Street, on Saturday. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance. His condition is not serious. HIT BY HOCKEY BALL. While watching a hockey match between the Canterbury and Auckland junior representatives, at Papatoetoe on Saturday afternoon, Mr. Leslie Smitlierman, of" Papatoetoe, was struck on the head by a ball which flew high from a "iard clearing shot. His head was cut and the wound was dressed by a St. •John ambulance officer. He was later taken home.
