FAIL TO AGREE.
PREMIERS AND MARKETING.
(Received 9.30 a.m.) ADELAIDE, this day. The Australian Premiers' conference ended on Saturday with the major constitutional issue on marketing powers, which was raised by the Privy Council decision in the dried fruits case, still undecided. Because of the lack of unanimity among the States it is believed that the Commonwealth Government alone will have to consider the question in order to obviate chaos in the marketing of Australian products.
